As my farmer father used to say, “I’ll be farming ’til they pat me in the face with a shovel.” That’s my philosophy and I seem to be the only one in “websiteland” who is unafraid to give her age—and show a current photograph. I’m reporting here that I’m 85, still writing daily, still leading writer workshops (five at the present).

My first piece was published when I was 20. That gives me over 60 years of writing and rewriting, editing my own and other people's work, writing in corporate Amercia and going it on my own.

A day without writing is worse than a day without sunshine!
