Editing Jobs
I do not actively solicit editing jobs because they take too much time away from my own writing. However, about three years ago I met the president of Telling Your Story, Inc. I told you a little earlier about how this led to a writing job for me. Now, this president, based in Florida, is back asking me to do editing of another sort for another TYS, Inc. client.
This client for having his story assembled and published is a life-long pilot. His company flies charters for corprate executives who don't have time to wait in lines for commercial flights. This is a big business, and the flight destinations are anywhere in the world. This client also does aerial photography for montion picture companies. The president of TYS interviews people who have known this career pilot/client. I receive the interview to edit and am paid for my time.
What does this have to do with my writing–or yours? I'm learning much more about aircraft, destinations, fascinating flying careers than I ever knew. What I learn will be tucked away in my files and will, I know, serve me well in future writing of my own.
"Computeritis" this week caused interruption in blogging, but I'm back. –Willma.
