Valuable Visitor

This will be short but I want to report on a wonderful visitor who arrived Sunday evening in time to meet about a dozen of my workshop members who were intrigued about meeting the visitor, Kay Murphy.  We met on Monday morning here.  Kay is a CA high school English teacher and is headed for Missouri, the locale of her book where she has a number of speaking engagements.  Why Missiour?  In a little town there her great grandmother was convicted in the murder of at least five (including a husband) and probably a number more victims. "The country's first woman serial killer."  The book, Tainted Legacy, is fascinating as we follow Kay through her research, uncovering new tidbits that did not get to the press, and her own aingst  as to whether such "genes" filter down through the generations.

My guests enjoyed her talk and each shared a little of what they are writing on now.  I'm confident Kay's talk added excitement and determinatio to our listeners.  Until tomorrow, Willma
