Refrigerator Reference

My entry to my Blog was blocked yesterday for some reason??? So even though this is Saturday, here is the blog that I wanted to send.

A writer friend who is primarily a poet e-mailed that one of the members of her poetry workshop who is among the most talented of their group has a system for revising, editing her poetry.  She brings the latest version of her poem to the kitchen when she is working there, cleaning or  preparing meals.  She magnets it to the fridge door where it reminds her to keep thinking of the word or phrase she wants to add or the words she wants to delete.

What a great idea! I have taken the "hint."

Every now and then, listening to TV or discussing writing with a fellow writer, I recall somthing I want to work on; a title comes to mind; a market I have not considered recently, etc. I've always kept a note pad and pen on the coffee table for penning ideas, but we women spend a lot of time in the kitchen doing routine chores. My magneted list on the fridge door is a tool I will use. Titles are important.  Mine now reads, "Send Stardust  to Monitor." This is a piece I wrote long ago that I believe has merit .  An oldie on the kitchen radio reminded me! Until Monday, Willma
