9/29/09–Preparations are under way for the first annual Sedona Book Festival.  Another writer and I have engaged a booth (#16) which, we understand, will be placed among a total of 100 booths, beneath a giant tent in the large parking lot of the local book store, Well Red Coyote, by name.

Since I now have copies of the Chick Soup anthology, What I Learned From The Cat, I will take these to the booth along with my three other titles and see what the traffic will buy. An artist friend has made a great poster for me that displays all four book covers and myphoto.  We are to arrive for set-up by 8 a.m.   My booth partner, Carol, will display her hand-printed and illustrated cook book, "The Secret Recipe," and she will offer samples of her three "best cookie" recipes.

Whether or not we sell books, we will enjoy munching, good company, and the exposure of our titles.–Willma
