Promises, Promises

Yesterday's blog reported on the Book Festival, number of books sold and the "good time had by all." When I picked up my mail late yesterday afternoon, I found the check for $200, the pay for my article in the Chick Soup release, What I Leraned From The Cat. When I first received the acceptance notice, I learned that the check would be sent "within 30 days of delivery of the books."  I was gratified to receive it within 10 days. and want to encourage all to go to: http://www.chickensoup.com/form.asp?cid=possible_books  and check out the latest report on needed subject matter.

The want RESULTS STORIES, CHRISTMAS & HOLIDAYS, DIETING & FITNESS, ENDURANCE SPORTS (run, cycle, swim), GRANDMOTHERS, GRIEVING & RECOVERY, GRIEVING & RECOVERY FOR CAT and/or DOG OWNERS.  Deadlines are in Spring 2010

A woman came by our table at the Festival, thumbed through my Grndparenting book, and said she wanted a copy but didn't bring any money with her.  Now, who goes to a sale without money?  Why go if you don't plan to buy?  However, she did take one of my business cards and called yesterday to say she would come by for a copy of the book and bring the $10 to pay for it. that brings my total Festival sales to 14.– Willma
