Titles

In checking over the recent titles of newly arrived books listed in the weekly newsletter of  Well Red Coyote, our local bookstore,  (that, incidentally, has as much for writers as for readers) I was immeditely impressed with the plethora of ideas/subjects authors write about and get published.  Nonfiction, fiction (including mysteryt, self-help, personal growth, and a few titles of children's books. I"m listing these and an ideas they "trigger" in me that I might write about.  Check them over.  You, too, may have a book lurking in your background that you have not yet thought about writing.

The Chef Who Died Sauteeing; The Layer Who Died Trying  Ink Death ( mystery);  The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, World Without End, Hannah's Dream, (fiction)  Talking About the Sixties, Winging It–Dispatched From An (almost) Empty Nest, Living Buddha, Living Christ; Drinking Problems At the Fountain of Youth, The Art of Dreaming;  (Self help)

More titles are listed as "new arrivals"  but these will give any of you (who do not haunt book shope and libraries as I do not have time for) an idea of what people are writing about.  ME? I was reminded with this list that I have considerable work already done on a title  "Who? You!–How To Create And Lead A Writer Workshop."   If somebody can die sauteeing, I think I can "live" long enough by staying out of the kitchen to complete this planned title of mine.  The main trouble with this title is that it begins with the letter "W" which puts it at the bottom of the alphabetical listing–apparently a "no-no" with publishers.

ANY SUGGESTIONS??  Willma Gore
