Apology
Hello all, out there in Blogland. I have been remiss in blogging the last two weeks as I endure all kinds of preparation appointments for Monday's first of two knee replacements. From all I hear from those who have had similar operations this will go well and I'll be "dancing the light fantastic" in no time.
Meanwhile, I have surprising good news and my message out of this is: NEVER GIVE UP SUBMITTING. In a long-fogotten submission of my short story, "Cellmates" to a Canadian Publisher, Skysong Press, I received this past week a contract for its publication in an up-coming anthology and the promise of pay of ONE CENT PER WORD. Well, at least it is being paid for. Since it had not sold elsewhere after many submissions, I am gratified.
KEEP ON WRITING AND SUBMITTING!
I'll be back with messages some time after Thanksgiving. Willma Gore
