Happy Thanksgiving to All

11/26/09–. No, I'm not fixing T-day dinner, but will be hosted at an elegant one put on by daughter-in-law, Ursula, one of the best (if not the best) cooks in Sedona.  We will share with other friends. My only contribution will be creamed onions which I like but few others do.

So with a little unscheduled time this morning, I did something I have never done before (for shame!). I "Googled" my name entering in the Google Search blank. I can't believe it but more than 100 entries appear using my name–everything from children's  books written YEARS ago to recent mention of my Sedona workshops in a little journal published in a neighboring town, Cornville.

Speaking of Cornville reminds me to mention how the town got its name.  I have not  personally  verified this by going to the County archives, but a local historian who came to one of my workshops several years ago told us that the town was founded by people by the name of Cohen for whom the town was to be named.  However, when the application for registration in the national records of towns and cities arrived in D.C. somebody there misread the name "Cohen" and the "rest is history" as they say.  Instead of Cohenville or just Cohen, the town is registerd as Cornville.–Happy day to all, Wllma
