12/8/09–The title above refers to a free writer's newsletter that I want to recommend to any writers who read this blog.  Mike Foley, editor, sends monthly wisdom about our fiction, suggesting ways we can improve, what to do when we are "stuck," and encourages us to "never give up."

Mike once attended a workshop I led in Crestline, CA.  He's a good writer and good teacher;  lives in Big Bear, and edits a monthy magazine, Dream Merchant.  He teaches creative writing at UC Riverside.
