More Time to Write

12/24/09–Nobody out there in Blogland has anything to do today but a million last-minute to-do's in preparation for the BIG DAY, tomorrow, but if any of my fathful readers (I'm assuming I have at least one) has time for checking blogs today or any time in the remainder of 2009, this is to let you know that I have gained even MORE time to write and read.

The pain resulting from my  fall on the ice (mentioned here on 12/17) has not slowly healed (as I fully expected) but has slowly increased, confining me to my chair and laptop most of my waking time.  However, the cofortable sofa is in front of the TV, and I have learned (via history channel) that a new can of worms has opened over whose religion is truly represented in the Dead Sea Scrolls. And the stack of magazines I save for "some free time to read," brings me examples and lovely photos of Australian Aborigine art.  Totally different from anything any of the famous and/or modern artists have produced. (Smithsonian, Dec. 2009)

I'll try to dig up more tips for writers, and send reports in the new year.  I do recommend leaving dishes, cooking and housecleaning in favor of more time at the keyboard–but don't recommend gaining it by "icing" your tailbone. –Willmai
