MERRY CHRISTMAS
12/25/10–It's about time I got back to my blog. For those who occasionally tune into my verbal meanderings, I'm not dead yet. The process of getting the Memoir Iron Grip through editing, formatting for publishing and finding a cover artist has been a time consuming job over the past month. But I am happy to report that I have scheduled appearances in Arizona early in the new year and in California during March and April of 2011 and will summarize final days and times here as soon as I have them all–five so far. I'm hoping that the energy level I now have will last through that time Menwhile, for today, my Christmas "card."
Christmas 2010
It’s a cold but lovely greeting time
For words from scenic Sedona clime,
Where rocks and bluffs delight the eye
Below puffs of white in a bright blue sky.
Cozy am I in computer chair
With wonderful news I need to share.
My Memoir “Iron Grip” is on its way
To be published (hooray!) one springtime day.
In process of writing since ‘44
The story’s been blessed with love and more.
A tale of two people who through the years
Gripped life with hooks and hands, and tears.
If energy holds in this old frame,
I’ll take the book forth thru sun and rain.
Promotion’s required in the writing game–
Whether or not it results in fame.
With aid of a friend through CA we’ll go
To speak about writing secrets and plans
In clubs, and homes and cozy nooks–.
“How to” and “where-to” in writing books.
